January 11, 2009: P&O circumnavigation cruise departs from Southampton, England. The 93-night cruise visits 31 ports in 19 countries.

January 12, 2009: Regent Seven Seas world cruise departs from Los Angeles. The 116-night voyage visits 54 ports on 5 continents.

January 13, 2009: Cunard Line's Queen Mary 2 world cruise departs from Fort Lauderdale. Sail around the world in 90-days via Cape Horn and the Suez Canal.

January 14, 2009: Princess world cruise departs from Fort Lauderdale and ends in England. The 107-day trip stops at 42 ports of call.

January 21, 2009: Crystal world cruise doesn't circumnavigate the globe, but does circle the Pacific. Departs from Los Angeles.
